Williams O Scale Model Trains
Williams is one of the pioneer companies that specialize in Lionel Model Train Replicas. The company was founded by Jerry Williams after it was able to acquire tools from the original Lionel in 1971. Williams then dedicated itself to Lionel replicas without the O Scale. The company eventually produced O Scale model trains in 1980 after it was able to purchase machines owned by Kusan. The said company used to be one of the top competitors of Lionel when it was in existence. Because of the O Scale's popularity, Williams eventually dedicated itself to O Scale production. The company is now owned by Bachmann Industries when it was purchased October 2007.
Williams O Scale Model Trains is a unique model trains because it has adopted a totally different image. Because of its difference it has attracted a particular group of hobbyists and collectors who are devoted to the product and model. The Williams O Scale model trains are still replicas of the original Lionel but it has added significant features to the model. Modern equipments have distinguished their mark on replicas since it was able to add more details. Williams O Scale Model Trains doesn't also use modern electronic equipments that are commonly found in today's O Scale model trains.
